Striped Bass (Rockfish) with Herring on driftwood

Rich finished in 2nd Place, Decorative Carving class at the 2006 Tuckerton, NJ Decoy Show with this great 9" Striper carving.  The Striper is chip carved from clear white pine and beautifully brush painted in artist oils.  It has painted copper fins and hand painted glass eyes.  The 2.75" Blueback Herring is fully detailed down to it's tiny hand painted glass eyes.
