Natural/Painted Rainbow Trout

Both of the Rainbow Trout in the photo are carved from clear white pine and finished in Rich's new natural/painted style.  Much of the wood grain is left revealed and the fish is tinted with washes of artist oil paints.  The fish have antiqued copper fins and antique eyes.  The smaller fish in front won 1st Place in the Minnow class at the 2006 Tuckerton, NJ, decoy show
