Half & Half Rainbow/Brook Trout by Kiersten & Rich Brooks

Rich worked with his granddaughter, Kiersten this year on a Christmas present for Kiersten's mom & dad.  Kiersten is only six years old but very ambitious and decided she wanted to do a "half & half" fish like Grandpa makes occasionally.  Rich carved the fish and assembled it.  With help from Grandpa, Kiersten did every bit of the painting, the first time she has painted a 3 dimensional fish (she has done some "flatties" in the past.  Needless to say, she did a great job painting this fully functional fish decoy for one so young.  She absolutely loves to paint and we intend to collaborate on more fish until Kiersten is old enough to carve her own.
