Great Lakes World Championships 2008

Rich’s entries did very well at the Great Lakes World Championships in September 2008.  All 10 of his entries won an award, and the Yellow Perch, Sucker, Herring Cheater, Frog Spot Folk Art minnow and Rainbow Trout shown above all won Blue Ribbons for First in Class.  In addition, the Rainbow Trout won 2nd in World Working Decoy, and the Frog Spot minnow won 3rd in World Folk Art Decoy.  Below are close up photos of the Frog Spot minnow and Rainbow Trout.

Best in Show Striper Plug Tuckerton Decoy Show

In September, 2005, Rich’s hand carved Striper plugs won 1st and 3rd Place as well as overall Best in Show at the Ocean County (Tuckerton, NJ) decoy show.  Rich’s popular Shad imitator popper, with through wire construction (left) was the Best in Show Striper Plug.
